Now you’ll see that the grade from the still has been applied to the new clip in the timeline.

Right click and choose Apply Grade from the dropdown menu.

When you hover over a still in the gallery viewer, it gives a preview of what that grade is going to look like when it gets applied to your new clip. If you open up the gallery, you’ll see the new still that was created.

Right click in the program viewer and go to Grab Still.

I'm just hoping for a feature that can save me time and provide a vivid looking final copy.Typically when color grading, you’ll have multiple shots from the same scene or shots from different scenes with similar lighting and setup.

PS - I know most people use a sophisticated tool like Resolve to manually color grade each and every clip, but for someone like me, I'm not looking to perfect each clip. Is there anything in Resolve that provides something similar to this? Not so much an auto function toward getting your video neutral, but an auto function that allows the image to "pop" more?

For purists out there this probably is not appealing, but for simple family home videos that I create they are a great touch. I know there is an Auto Color option in Resolve that attempts to give the video a neutral color, but in VideoStudio this same option resulted in an image that really popped off the screen. That is, an Auto Color Correction feature for entire clips. I'm attempting to learn what I can with Resolve, but there is one function in VideoStudio that I really liked and I'm wondering if something similar exists for Resolve. I'm a total newbie with Resolve, but have done video editing for years with VideoStudio.
